VILT is a thrash/melodic death metal band from Linköping that pushes the classic Scandinavian sound to new heights. Their foundation is aggressive riffs, fast drums, and raw growls. In 2022 they released Adversary, which caught the attention of Anders Fridén (In Flames), leading to an opening slot for In Flames at their festival “Dalhalla Brinner.”
In 2024 the band dropped their debut EP …To Mourn The Death Of A Stranger via GAIN / Fifth Island Music / Sony Music — and it hits hard.
