Insania is a power metal band formed in 1992 in Stockholm by drummer Mikko Korsbäck and guitarist Henrik Juhano. Their music is inspired by giants of the genre such as Helloween, Gamma Ray, and Blind Guardian. After spending much of the 2010s on pause, the band returned with Praeparatus Supervivet in 2021. In June 2025 they released their sixth full-length album The Great Apocalypse, proving they can still deliver pure ear-candy more than 25 years after their debut.
Their 2001 album Sunrise in Riverland has been in heavy rotation in Brothers of Metal’s tour bus, so being able to present Insania at our festival feels especially epic. This is a band you do not want to miss!
